Short:MUI Preference program for Birdie [1.31]
Author:Maxime Gamboni
Uploader:gamboni@fastnet.ch
Type:util/misc
Requires:Birdie 1.5 (http://www.vgr.com/birdie/); CyberGraphx v3 recommended
Version: 1.31
Distribution:NoCD
[Since v1.3:
* Stupid bug preventing 1.3 to work fixed. ]
Birdie is a hack that gives you datatypes loaded patterns in
the window border of windows open on the default public screen
(WB) (or all screens, if you set the 'PublicScreens' flag)
You can find this program on the official CyberGraphx home page
(http://www.vgr.com/birdie/).
Birdie has a command line interface and Birdie Prefs provides a
preferences interface to spare you to edit your Startup-Sequence or
your User-Startup.
Please read the documentation, especially the 'Usage' chapter!
Birdie Prefs has the following features:
* Uses the traditional env: envarc: dirs to save the preference file, now
loading is a lot faster than before. You can "use" your settings, so that
when you reset the default configuration is back.
* You can test the configuration without exiting the preferences program
with a 'test' button.
* When you change the configuration, Birdie is broken and started
again so that you can see the results at once (although there are
some seconds to wait because Birdie must load the patterns)
* Locale support. Available languages are:
English
French
Russian
Swedish
(But the guide is English only)
* Mui interface
* All arguments/switches of Birdie are useable/changeable.
* Public domain, AmigaE-source included
